With a number of measures approved today by the Provincial Council at the proposal of Vice-President and Education Councillor Francesca Gerosa, the necessary resources have been allocated to schools to plan activities or face extraordinary investments, for a total amount of nearly 2.5 million euros. In particular, in the area of inclusion, in order to allow the full participation of all students, especially those who need attention and accompaniment to achieve educational success, an extraordinary allocation has been made to all school and training institutions, with particular reference to those in which there are students with sensory disabilities. Also in relation to the resources already allocated in the settlement for the inclusion of students with special educational needs, an allocation of between EUR 1,200 and EUR 6,100 has been envisaged. The latter figure concerns larger schools with students with both visual and hearing disabilities. Where there is at least one student with this type of disability, however, an amount of EUR 3,500 per school is allocated.
