The Provincial Council met today in Mezzano, Primiero. The president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, together with the members of the provincial executive, was welcomed by the mayor Giampiero Zugliani, the municipal council, a large number of representatives from the world of voluntary work and associations, the Mezzano Folkloristic Group, as well as military and civil authorities, the first citizen of Sagron Mis Marco Depaoli and the mayor and deputy mayor of Canal San Bovo, Bortolo Rattin and Camillo Bettega. Provincial councillor Antonella Brunet was also present.
The meeting represented an important opportunity to discuss the issues that the local community feels most strongly about, from infrastructure to essential services, to the enhancement of the territory and future plans for the area's development.
"We wanted to be here today to listen closely to the demands of the territory and to get to know some aspects of your community better,' Fugatti began, greeting those present. 'This way of taking the Council to the territories, while demanding, allows us to better investigate local issues and to deal with the dossiers that concern the territories with greater awareness. In Primiero, in particular, in the last legislature we already found great cohesion and unity of purpose among the administrations, a precious element for the work of the provincial executive, as it facilitates the adoption of strategic choices for the future community'.
