Back to Mollaro, in Val di Non, a new edition of Fiorinda, the festival that pays homage to the blossoming of the apple trees with a varied cultural and enogastronomic proposal, complemented by stands of floricultural products, fruit cultivation, handicrafts and local associations. Workshops, guided visits to historical sites, the Santa Giustina dam and underground cells, walks among the apple trees in blossom, exhibitions, music and shows will accompany the two days, to discover what makes this area unique.
The event was inaugurated this morning by the councillor for agriculture, promotion of Trentino products, environment, hydrogeological defence and local authorities of the Autonomous Province of Trento. On stage at the inauguration, among others, were the president of the Pro Loco Taio, the president of the Val di Non Tourist Board and a representative of the Melinda Board. Among the audience, in addition to many families, were numerous local authorities.
The provincial councillor brought greetings from the president and the entire provincial government and emphasised that Fiorinda, which opened with the notes of the Trentino anthem performed by the Coredo Band, showcased a very strong Trentino system, as demonstrated by the stands on display. He then thanked the volunteers and the Pro Loco Taio, which every year provides passion and commitment to give everyone this event. As with Quattro Ville in fiore, these are events that mark an important moment of restart, with the territory as the protagonist. A territory - as the councillor recalled - that is active in many areas: from agriculture to sustainability, from promotion to innovation, from social commitment to the world of craftsmanship.
