Applications for concessions of new water derivations for hydroelectric use, or concerning modifications of existing derivations with an increase in the subtended stretch and/or period and/or flow rate to be derived, are submitted to the Public Water Use Service (SUAP).

The same applications must be accompanied by an appropriate report and documentation to illustrate the environmental aspects and the consistency of the project with the criteria and conditions indicated by the General Public Water Use Plan (PGUAP) and the Water Protection Plan (PTA-2022), also including the characteristics of the monitoring plan of the water body concerned, where necessary.
