Not active: the deadline for collecting applications for the 2023/2024 school year has expired.
Grant for students to attend a school course abroad in EU countries, to improve language skills and increase understanding of other cultures.
This is a contribution, called an individual voucher, aimed at encouraging attendance of the:
- 3rd year for students attending Trentino four-year high schools
or
- Year IV for students attending other secondary schools
in a European Union country or United Kingdom.
The amount of the voucher depends on the foreign country of destination, the duration (annual or partial) of the school course and the ICEF 2022 family economic condition indicator. For complete information and quantification of the voucher, please consult the provisions contained in the Notice.
The voucher cannot be combined with scholarships or similar benefits granted for the same purpose by the Province or other public or private bodies, including NGOs (e.g. Inps, Fondazione Caritro, Intercultura and Wep).
Where the school course can be carried out
The school course must be carried out at a foreign educational institution based in a European Union country or in the United Kingdom.
The organisation of the school course is the responsibility of the student and his/her family.
What is the duration of the course
The school course may be of annual or partial duration:
- annual duration - the student is required to attend a foreign school for the entire school year for a minimum of 240 days, failing which the voucher may be reduced or revoked;
- partial duration - the student is required to attend a foreign school for a minimum period of 110 days, failing which the voucher may be reduced or withdrawn.
Obligations of the student
The student is obliged to:
- attend the foreign school for the duration indicated in the application (annual or partial).
- produce at the end of the school course a final report/assessment form (Final report) drawn up by the foreign organisation (according to the procedures provided for) certifying the period of school attendance and a positive evaluation.
When the voucher is paid
The voucher is paid in two instalments:
- the first one as an advance payment is equal to 70% of the total amount, with the modalities and deadlines please consult the Notice;
- the second instalment as a balance, equal to 30% of the total amount, after the conclusion of the school course, subject to verification of the final evaluation/report form filled in by the foreign school.
How to fill in the Application for payment of the FIRST instalment - only for PARTIAL PERIOD VOUCHERS STARTING IN 2024
Itis possible to submit from 10.30 a.m. on 30 January 2024 the 2024 Deduction Form for the settlement of the first instalment as indicated below.
The application procedure provides for
- completion and transmission of the application exclusively via ONLINE PROCEDURE (using SPID credentials)
Please note that this document must be submitted by 29 March 2024 pursuant to paragraph 11 of the Notice.
How to fill in the Application for Payment of the BALANCE - only for PARTIAL PERIOD VOUCHERS BEGINNING IN 2023
Starting from 10.30 a.m. on 30 January 2024, it is possible to submit an APPLICATION FOR SETTLEMENT OF THE BALANCE as indicated below:
The application procedure provides for:
- completion and transmission of the application exclusively via ONLINE PROCEDURE (using SPID credentials)
Please note that this documentation must be submitted, under penalty of revocation of the voucher, by 29 March 2024.
Restrictions
The application for registration must be submitted from 9 a.m. on Tuesday 17 January 2023 until 1 p.m. on Friday 17 February 2023 (PLEASE NOTE: registration closed)
The completion and transmission of the application for settlement of the first instalment (partial period voucher starting in 2024) and the application for settlement of the balance (partial period voucher starting in 2023) must be submitted from 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday 30 January 2024 until 11.59 p.m. on Friday 31 March 2024
