Students enrolled at the University of Trento
The free circulation pass can be loaded onto the smart card or smartphone application.
Visit the dedicated page on the University of Trento website to proceed with activation of free circulation
Once the procedure has been completed, an email is sent. Once you have received this email you can upload your season ticket on the smartphone app or go to a Trentino Trasporti ticket office to request the smart card.
At the ticket office it is necessary to present the smart card application form and the self-declaration of non-employment, attached below.
Students attending Universities other than the University of Trento or other post-diploma courses
To obtain a season ticket, you must obtain a smart card using the forms below (smart card request form + self-declaration of non-employment).
Season tickets can be weekly extra-urban, monthly (urban or extra-urban) or annual free circulation (€100 annual fee) and are listed in the attached price list.
The free circulation season ticket allows travel on public transport services in Trentino and in particular
- the urban and extra-urban services of Trentino Trasporti SpA
- the Trento-Malè-Marilleva railway
- the Valsugana Railway between Trento and Primolano
- the Brenner Railway (*) between Borghetto and Mezzocorona/Ora. The Ora station can only be used for journeys to or from Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa. The ascent/descent stops of Salorno, Magrè/Cortaccia and Egna are excluded.
- the Trento-Sardagna cable car.
*excluding long-distance trains (Intercity, Eurocity, Euronight, Frecce di Trenitalia)
Euregio Ticket Students
Young people studying in the Euregio area (universities or para-university courses) can apply for theEuregio Ticket Students, which allows them unlimited and flexible use of public transport throughout South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino at a fixed fare. The amount of the season ticket is EUR 356.00 per year. The application is made via the website of the Province of Bolzano (click here for more information)
