Specialisations for Ski Instructors

In order to encourage the acquisition of specific professional skills, the Provincial Council announces examinations for the attainment of specialisation diplomas for Technical Director of Ski Schools and Ski Instructors in Foreign Languages. In addition to these courses, the Provincial Council, having heard the opinion of the Provincial Ski Instructors' Association, may establish other types of courses and specialisation examinations.

The specialisations described above are not necessary to exercise the profession. However, the specialisation diploma of Technical Director is one of the requirements for the recognition of a ski and snowboard school.

The Provincial College of Ski Instructors, on the other hand, organises courses for the achievement of specialisations in teaching skiing to children, teaching skiing to the disabled, teaching telemark, teaching freeride, teaching freestyle and new school, issuing, at the end of the course, a certificate of attendance on the basis of which the Province issues the appropriate specialisation diploma.

Ski instructors who are qualified and enrolled in the Professional Register. In order to specialise as a ski school technical director, it is necessary to have been enrolled in the Professional Register of Ski Instructors for at least five years.

Submit the application for the examination, attached to the notice approved by resolution of the Provincial Council, via PEC to serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it.

The documentation to be enclosed with the application for the licence examination is indicated in the specialisation notice approved by resolution of the Provincial Council.
