Tourism professions

In Trentino, tourism professionals are qualified to accompany tourists when visiting the main attractions of the territory and are distinguished by specialisation in relation to their respective technical characteristics. The exercise of the tourism professions is reserved for those who have obtained the qualification by attending special courses/exams organised at provincial level. Approximately 3500 figures currently work in the territory, including ski instructors, mountain guides, mid-mountain guides and equestrian tourism assistants, in addition to about 500 tourist guides and tour leaders.
