Criteria and modalities for the granting of a scholarship to secondary school students to attend school courses abroad in countries outside the European Union
The call for applications to attend the 4th year abroad in a non-EU country in the school year 2026/2027 has been approved.
It will be possible to apply for the scholarship from 10 a.m. on 27 November 2025 to 12.30 of 09 January 2026.
By resolution XXX of 14/11/2025, the Notice containing the criteria and modalities for the granting of a grant to secondary school students to attend school courses abroad in countries outside the European Union to improve language skills and increase understanding of other cultures, during the 2026/2027 school year, was approved.

The school course must be undertaken at a foreign educational institution based in a non-EU country.
The school course may be of one-year or partial duration.
The amount of the grant depends on the foreign country of destination chosen, the duration (annual or partial) of the school course and the ICEF "Family" economic condition indicator.
For complete information and quantification of the study grant, please consult the provisions contained in the Notice.
The study grant is paid in two instalments
The study grant cannot be combined with vouchers or similar benefits awarded for the same purpose by the Province or other public or private bodies, including non-profit organisations (e.g. Inps, Fondazione Caritro, Intercultura, Wep etc.).
The organisation of the school course is the responsibility of the student and his/her family.

Please note that the grant awarded is in any case conditional upon completion of the 2025/2026 school year without educational deficiencies.
You can submit your application from 10.00 of Thursday 27th November 2025 until 12.30 of Friday 09 January 2026 by means of an IT procedure using SPID, CIE or CPS access credentials (see relevant Notice).
The bursary may be supplemented with an additional lump sum to encourage the participation of disabled persons (a person with a "disability" will be considered to be a person with a "disability" who is certified in accordance with Law 104/92 on the date the application for the bursary is submitted).
To submit an application for a study grant, it is necessary to process the ICEF "Family" indicator resulting from the 2024 Income and Assets Declaration, calculated as of 15 September 2025, at a CAAF or a peripheral counter for assistance and public information, located throughout the province.
The indicator certificate does not have to be attached to the scholarship application, as it will be checked ex officio.
The indicator is necessary for the eligibility of the application, for the formation of the ranking list and the determination of the allocated quota.
The scholarship application can be submitted from 10 a.m. on Thursday 27 November 2025 until 12.30 p.m. on Friday 9 January 2026.
