Scholarship for schooling abroad in non-EU countries a. s. 2025/2026

The Autonomous Province of Trento has approved incentives for attending a school course abroad in countries outside the European Union. The intervention is financed entirely by the PAT.

It is a direct contribution to encourage attendance of the:

• Year III for students attending four-year high schools
• IV year for students attending other secondary schools

All information regarding the payment of the first instalment is contained in the Announcement 2025/2026

The student is required to

• attend the foreign school for the entire duration indicated in the application (annual or partial)
• produce, at the end of the school course, the evaluation form/final report, drawn up by the foreign institution (according to the established procedures) certifying the period of school attendance and a positive evaluation.

The application may be submitted by the same parent who applied for the grant or by the student who has come of age.

You can submit your application from 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 1 July 2025 until 12.30 p.m. on Friday 29 August 2025 via computer procedure using your SPID, CIE or CPS credentials (see the relevant Notice).

In the event that it is not possible to indicate in the application for payment of the first instalment the name and location of the foreign school as well as the start date of the education course abroad, this information must be communicated, together with a copy of the identity document of the scholarship applicant to the email address serv.formazione@pec.provincia.tn.it, with the following deadlines

• for students whose study period abroad starts in 2025, the aforementioned communication must be received by the Administration if possible before the start of the study period abroad and in any case by the deadline of 30 September 2025
• for students whose study period abroad starts in 2026, the aforementioned notification must be received before the start of the study period abroad and in any case by 27 February 2026

The student assignee is required to submit the following documents

• application for payment of the first instalment
• tax deduction form 2025

The Application for payment of the first instalment must be submitted between 10.00 a.m. on 1 July 2025 and 12.30 p.m. on 29 August 2025.

The grant is paid in two instalments

• the first as an advance payment is 50% of the total amount, (including any additional amount granted by the Administration in the case of disabled students). Please consult the Call for Proposals for details and deadlines
• the second instalment, equal to 50% of the total amount, (including any additional amount granted by the Administration in the case of disabled students), after the conclusion of the school course, subject to verification of the final report/assessment form completed by the foreign school

In order to maintain the benefit granted, the disbursement of the scholarship awarded is in any case subject to an assessment of learning at the end of the 2024/2025 school year with no educational deficiencies
