Request to visit the 112 Single Emergency Call Centre

For adult visitors, the activity includes an on-site presentation on the features of the Single Emergency Number and how it works, the technologies available to 1-1-2 operators, and how the WhereAreU app works. This will be followed by a tour of the control centre itself, where participants will see the computer systems in action and have the opportunity to make test calls, so they can gain a practical insight into the work of the operators at the Single Response Centre. 

For younger children, following a brief presentation, there will be games designed to help them learn in an interactive way what 1-1-2 is and how it works. 

 This initiative is aimed at organisations, emergency services and schools.

For operational reasons, the option to request appointments via the Single Emergency Centre may occasionally be suspended.
