Registration on the volunteer list to become a support administrator

The institution of the Support Administrator is a customised protection measure that aims to preserve as much as possible the person's capacity to act, providing a form of support exclusively for functions that the person cannot perform independently.

In the Autonomous Province of Trento, this legal institution is regulated by provincial law no. 4/2011.

• Family members of frail persons for whom the appointment of an AdS is required
• Persons benefiting or potentially benefiting from a support administration
• Already appointed DSAs
• Volunteers interested in becoming a LSA
• Public and third sector organisations
• Courts of Trento and Rovereto
• Professional associations

Citizens who meet the following requirements may apply for registration on the provincial list of Support Administrators

• majority age
• Italian/EU citizenship or regular residence permit
• absence of final charges or convictions or application of the penalty pursuant to Article 444 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in relation to offences for which the minimum sentence is 3 years, unless the main or substitute penalty has been extinguished or suspended or there has been an acquittal pursuant to Article 530 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or acquittal
• specific training in the field of support administration lasting a minimum of 6 hours, or experience already gained as a support administrator in the social-welfare, social-health, legal, accounting sectors.

The application for registration to the list of AdS should be sent to the PEC address umse.disabili_integrasociosan@pec.provincia.tn.it or delivered directly to UMSE Disability and Social and Health Integration - Via Gilli 4 (4th floor) - 38121 Trento, on a specially prepared form, available on this page, in the forms section.

• Application/cancellation form complete with privacy policy
• Form in case of data changes
• Photocopy of identity card

The application can be submitted throughout the year.

Once the application for registration has been submitted, the applicant receives the notification of the start of the procedure and subsequently the letter of registration on the list.

PAT guarantees third party liability insurance coverage for the Support Administrators appointed by the tutelary judges of the courts of Trento and Rovereto.

In order to obtain a copy of the insurance policy, it is necessary to request access to the records of the Province, filling in the relevant application and sending it duly signed to the e-mail or pec address of the Contracts and Purchase Centre Service.
