RSA and other social and healthcare services: grants for the purchase of goods and motor vehicles

Pursuant to Article 19-bis, paragraphs 3 and 6-bis, of Provincial Law No. 6/1998, the Province may grant capital grants to public bodies, associations, foundations, co-operatives and other private institutions, which have legal personality and operate on a not-for-profit basis, and whose objectives include the provision of social and healthcare services, for the purchase and replacement of equipment, apparatus, furnishings and motor vehicles intended for the provision of social and healthcare services in residential care homes and other social and healthcare facilities.

Applications may be submitted by public bodies, associations, foundations, co-operatives and other private institutions which have legal personality, operate on a not-for-profit basis, and whose objectives include the provision of social and healthcare services.

The application must be submitted to the Health and Social Care Policy Department in one of the following ways:

- by email or certified email, in accordance with the relevant technical regulations, to the following address:serv.politsanitarie@pec.provincia.tn.it;

- via the simplified interoperability channel within P.I.Tre for entities affiliated with P.I.Tre;

and, as a last resort:

- by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt;

- by hand delivery to the secretariat of the relevant department (Via Gilli, 4 – Trento) from Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 12.00, or at the local service points located throughout the region.

Types of grant applications:

Type a1): purchases essential to the operation of residential care homes resulting from new builds, refurbishments and/or extensions, where the eligible expenditure exceeds €2,000,000.00; 

Type a1): purchases essential to the operation of residential care homes (RSA) resulting from building works that can be carried out in phases, each with functional autonomy;

Type a2): purchases essential to the operation of facilities other than residential care homes (RSA) resulting from the launch of new social and healthcare activities and/or services, or from extensions; 

category b1): purchases and replacements essential to the operation of the facility, resulting from building works funded by the province that do not fall under categories a1) and a2); 

category b2): purchases and replacements essential to the operation of the facility.

- a photocopy of the applicant’s identity document (if the application is signed by hand and not in the presence of the relevant member of staff)

- any additional documents specified in the relevant application form.

120 days from the day following the submission of the grant application.

In the case of applications for an extension or suspension of the deadlines for the submission of documentation, the commencement of works and the reporting on projects relating to properties intended for social and healthcare activities funded by the Province: 30 days from the day following receipt of the application.
