Professionalising training courses in the field of social innovation

The Autonomous Province of Trento, by Resolution of the Provincial Council no. 2098 of 13 December 2024, supplemented by Resolution no. 971 of 4 July 2025, approved the Notice aimed at implementing professionalising post-graduate training and lifelong learning pathways in the field of social innovation, within the framework of the ESF+ Programme 2021-2027. The action is co-financed by the European Union - European Social Fund plus - the Italian State and the Autonomous Province of Trento and is intended to offer graduates in various disciplines the opportunity to participate in high-level training courses in the following professional profiles

A - Professionalising post-graduate training paths in the field of social innovation:

A.1 - socio-economic profile - expert in social design;

A.2 - technological profile - expert in applied digital innovation.

Training duration of 1,000 hours, including internship hours and in-depth study of the English language.

B - Continuing training courses with a professionalising content in the field of social innovation:

B. - social assistance profile - expert in the field of protection and services for minors.

Total training duration is 200 hours including at least 40 hours of in-depth study of the English language.

Benefits for participants for profile A ONLY

Participants who are under 36 years of age, unemployed or unemployable, with I.C.E.F. <0.20 calculated for access to the provincial single allowance, will receive an allowance of 1.50 euros per hour of classroom training attended, subject to verification of the achievement of at least 70% of the hours per capita and achievement of a positive final assessment. A monthly allowance will also be granted for attendance of the traineeship as per provincial law no. 19 of 16 June 1983. A meal voucher of EUR 5.29 is provided for each training day of at least 6 hours.

The target groups for the two operations are as follows:

A) Post-graduate vocational training courses in the field of social innovation. Persons in possession of a university degree, resident or domiciled in the Province of Trento may participate in the operations. In the selection phase, priority will be given to residents.

B) Continuing vocational training courses in the field of social innovation in the protection and services of minors. Persons resident (with priority) or domiciled in the Province of Trento and in possession of a three-year degree, master's degree, specialised degree or old system degree, as specified below, may take part in the interventions:

• Degree in Social Work;
• Master's degree in Methodology, Organisation and Evaluation of Social Services (MOVASS);
• Degree in Educational Science;
• Degree in Law;
• Degree in Pedagogy;
• BSc in Psychology;
• Degree in Professional Education.

Excluded from participation are persons

• retired (pensioners);
• who have reached the age of 65 on the date of enrolment;
• enrolled in other training activities co-financed by the European Social Fund plus or within the GOL programme with concurrent timetables.

Once you have submitted your application form, you will have to pass a selection test to gain access to the training initiative. The selection will be carried out by the implementing body.

Following the selection, a ranking will be drawn up to identify those enrolled in the training courses.
Candidates who have passed the selection test will have to formalise their willingness to participate in the course by filling in a specific application form addressed to the implementing body before the start of the course.
