What to do
A simple communication with the following information is sufficient: the applicant's personal details, tax code number and telephone number1; this must be addressed to "Provincia Autonoma di Trento, Servizio Polizia amministrativa provinciale", via Petrarca, 34/1 - Trento; the communication must also contain specific information on the nature, programme, location and time of the event, as well as whether or not the event is an entrepreneurial event with or without a profit motive.
In addition to this, the following must be indicated in detail: the need or otherwise for road closures; the average speed on roads open/closed to traffic; whether or not the rules of the Highway Code are complied with; the number of participants; the presence or otherwise of skill tests; the type of roads covered; the amateur nature of the event; the presence of medical assistance and fire-fighting equipment.
It should also be noted that the organiser must obtain, where applicable, the prior opinion of CONI expressed through the national sports federations.
In such cases, no licence is issued, but a notice is sent by the manager to all those concerned.
