Installation/modification of telecommunications and broadcasting equipment

The single authorisation for fixed installations for telecommunications and broadcasting, and of the relative structures, is issued by the provincial structure responsible for telecommunications, and includes the opinion on compliance with the limits of exposure to electromagnetic fields, as well as all the enabling titles and any act of assent, however denominated, in the following cases
(a) for the installation and alteration of fixed telecommunications and broadcasting installations, as well as for the realisation and alteration of the relevant structures, when authorisation is required pursuant to State regulations
(b) for the construction and alteration of structures intended to house fixed telecommunications and broadcasting installations, when a building permit is required for their execution pursuant to the Provincial Law for the Government of the Territory 2015.
In other cases, the installation or modification of telecommunications and broadcasting facilities, as well as of the related structures, shall be subject to the submission of the SCIA, communication, declaration or other simplification institute provided for by state regulations. Within thirty days of the submission of the aforementioned applications, the Provincial Environmental Protection Agency shall issue its opinion, in the cases provided for by State regulations.

Companies intending to install or modify fixed telecommunications equipment or sound and television broadcasting equipment must apply for authorisation.

The application may be submitted by the legal representative of the undertaking or by his delegate.

Access to the service is online, by connecting to the Autonomous Province of Trento's portal and authenticating yourself in the prescribed manner (CPS, CNS, SPID).

Within 30 days of the submission of the aforementioned applications, the Provincial Environmental Protection Agency issues its opinion, in the cases provided for by State regulations.
