Grants for youth hostels, rural accommodation and holiday homes

Grants are awarded for the following initiatives:

• the purchase of properties registered with the Land Registry and the associated land.
• construction, provided that the applicant holds ownership or another real right of disposal for at least 10 years from the date of completion of the investment,with the exception of holiday homes.
• the renovation and extension of properties which may result in a building complex different from the previous one;
• purchase of equipment and furnishings 

The properties eligible for the scheme must be situated in areas where there are no establishments governed by Provincial Law No. 7 of 15 May 2002 and Provincial Law No. 9 of 14 July 2000 (in the case of holiday homes, only those managed and organised to provide accommodation for guests are eligible)

The properties eligible for the subsidy are subject to a restriction on their use for at least 10 years from the date the business opens.

The following are eligible for these benefits:

• the separate administrative bodies managing the communal land holdings
• the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme
• the Regole of Spinale Manez

The application for a grant, completed using the appropriate forms provided by the local authority, may be submitted to the Tourism Department for expenses to be incurred after the application has been submitted.

Applications for an extension or suspension of the deadlines for commencement, completion and reporting must be submitted to the Tourism Service by the originally set deadline, using the appropriate form, which should be sent to the certified email address serv.turismo@pec.provincia.tn.it. 

The documentation must be drawn up and submitted in accordance with point 1 of the implementing criteria.

Applications may be submitted at any time of the year.

The Tourism Service will verify that the eligibility criteria are met, that the expenditure is appropriate, the amount of the grant due, and any applicable requirements, and will issue a decision to award or refuse the grant.

The outcome will be communicated to the applicant once the decision becomes final, that is, following a positive review by the Budget and Accounting Department.
