Grants for amateur sporting activities outside the province (settlement)

This is the application submitted by sports associations or clubs that have been awarded a grant to cover the costs incurred in connection with sporting activities carried out outside the province and relating to participation in amateur sporting events organised and/or governed by sports federations, sports promotion bodies, associated sports disciplines or recognised associations.

The grant is provided for under Article 15(1)(h) of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016, the ‘2016 Provincial Law on Sport’.

The grant is awarded at a rate of 30 per cent (or 50 per cent to promote gender equality) of eligible expenditure and, in any event, within the limits of the budget deficit and the grant awarded.

The applicant must have previously submitted an application for a grant, and the grant must have been awarded to them by a decision of the head of the provincial body responsible for sport.

Sports associations and clubs to which the requested grant has been awarded by decision of the head of the provincial authority responsible for sport.

The application must be submitted by the legal representative of the sports organisation.

1. Application form completed in full.
2. Statement of expenditure and income incurred.
3. List of expense documents on the provided form.
4. A list of competitions and/or events outside the province in which the sports club has taken part, stating the date, venue and name of the organisation that organised the event.

The application for payment must be submitted upon completion of the project and, in any event – unless otherwise specified in the decision granting the grant – by 31 December of the year following that in which the grant application was submitted.
