This is a contribution to cover the interest accrued on mortgages or loans taken out with credit institutions that have entered into agreements for energy recovery or upgrading work that you have carried out or intend to carry out on one or more property units.
The contribution you may receive is equal to the sum of the interest on the first 10 annuities of a mortgage or loan stipulated with a credit institution with which I have an agreement.
The mortgage or loan must be taken out after the grant of the contribution. If you have already taken out a mortgage loan, the mortgage or loan under this notice may be taken out after the grant as a supplementary loan with an independent repayment plan and in agreement with the bank that took out the first loan.
The minimum total expenditure to be incurred for the interventions is €20,000.
The maximum expenditure allowed for each building unit is € 200,000 and the maximum expenditure allowed for each application is € 500,000.
The maximum amount of the mortgage or loan on which the contribution is granted is equal to
- 80% of the eligible expenditure if the interventions are carried out on real estate units intended or to be used as a first home;
- 60% of the eligible expenditure for other property units intended or to be intended for residential use.
Below are two examples of the calculation of the grant:
Amount of eligible expenditure following preliminary investigation: euro 100,000.00.
- % applied to the sum of eligible expenses: 80% if the property unit is already/is intended to become a first home:
- Maximum loan amount admitted for the purposes of calculating the grant: euro 80,000.00
- Projected rate: 3.75%
- Annual contribution to reduce interest on the first ten years of the mortgage (assuming an annual instalment): euro 1,650.00
- % applied to the sum of eligible expenses: 60% if the real estate unit is not intended to become a first home:
- Maximum loan amount admitted for the purposes of calculating the grant: euro 60,000.00
- Projected rate: 3.75%
- Annual contribution to reduce interest on the first ten years of the mortgage (assuming an annual instalment): euro 1,237.50.
The property unit on which you carry out the interventions must belong to one of the following cadastral categories
- A2 to A7;
- C2, C6, F2, F4 provided that the interventions are aimed at converting the real estate unit for residential use falling within cadastral categories A2 to A7;
- F3 provided that they have been registered in that category for at least five years and the interventions are aimed at converting them into a property unit for residential use falling within cadastral categories A2 to A7.
If at the same time you carry out works on property units classified in cadastral categories C2, C6 and C7 destined or to be destined as appurtenances to property units, you can include them in the application.
Interventions on property units intended or to be intended for accommodation activities pursuant to Provincial Law no. 7 of 15 May 2002 (Disciplina degli esercizi alberghieri ed extra-alberghieri e promozione della qualità della ricettività turistica), including accommodation for tourist use, are not eligible for aid.

Notice of commencement of proceedings
Pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 25 of Provincial Law No 23 of 30 November 1992, notice is hereby given of the commencement of the procedure for the grant of a contribution to cover the interest accrued on loans or borrowings contracted with credit institutions for energy recovery or upgrading works (reference legislation Provincial Law No 9, Article 16 of 5 August 2024). The competent structure for the adoption of the concession measure is the Territorial Cohesion Service, Housing Policies, Enhancement of Trentino's Social Capital Abroad, and the person in charge of the procedure is Dr Angelita Tarenghi in her capacity as director of the relevant office.
The office at which it is possible to inspect the documents relating to the proceedings and exercise the rights referred to in Article 27 of Provincial Law No 23 of 30 November 1992 is the Housing Policies Office, which is part of the Territorial Cohesion, Housing Policies and Enhancement of Trentino's Social Capital Abroad Service.
