ESF Language Catalogue 2014/2020 - Registration closed

The courses are aimed at enabling the passage of language levels, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), respectively

- from level A1 to A2 (Elementary)

- from level A2 to B1 (Pre-Intermediate or Low Intermediate)

- from level B1 to B2 (Post-Intermediate)

- from level B2 to C1 (Advanced)

There are no courses for reaching level A1 or C2.

The duration of each course is approximately 80 hours of training with attendance mainly in the classroom.

The candidate may choose only one language and the location in which to carry out the course; the language level will instead be determined through an assessment test of the language skills possessed by the implementing body.

At the end of the B1, B2 and C1 courses it is possible to take the language certification examination conducted by internationally accredited certifying bodies.

Participation in the courses is open to residents in the province of Trento, not retired (pensioners), aged between 25 and not yet 60, with an initial language knowledge/competence of at least A1 level.

Those who are enrolled in other European Social Fund/Development and Cohesion Fund co-funded training activities with a timetable that overlaps with the language course during the period of the latter may not participate.

In the case of users already in possession of a language certificate for the chosen language, attendance is only permitted on a course at a level subsequent to the certificate already obtained.

You can apply for membership from 6 December 2022 via the online application procedure using your SPID (Sistema Pubblico di Identità Digitale) credentials. If you do not have the SPID digital identity and for information on how to activate it, you can visit https://www.spid.gov.it.

Only courses with an active registration period will be visible within the computerised procedure.

Any language certificates held must be attached to the application.

It is stressed that, for the purposes of the formation of the rankings by the implementing bodies, priority will be given firstly to possession of an ICEF equal to or less than 0.18 (ICEF resulting from the Single Application for the right to study and early childhood facilities) and secondly residence in a municipality of the internal areas (i.e. the territory of Bassa Valsugana made up of the municipalities of Castello Tesino, Cinte Tesino and Pieve Tesino and that of the Val di Sole Community made up of the municipalities of Caldes, Cavizzana, Commezzadura, Croviana, Dimaro - Folgarida, Malè, Mezzana, Ossana, Pellizzano, Rabbi, Terzolas, Pejo and Vermiglio).

These data must be declared when applying for the chosen route.

There will be more opportunities to apply during the course of the year.

The online application must be completed and confirmed by the deadline of the open application period set by the implementing body (as indicated in the publicity notice for each intervention); in this section of the website it will be possible to check the open deadlines for each location.

The user will be considered trained if he/she has attended at least 70% of the chosen pathway and obtained a positive final assessment of profit. At the end of the training course, for users who are trained, the organisation will deliver acertificate with the acquired learning.

Any language certificates held must be attached to the application.
