Description
Funding is granted to cover the expenses incurred for rehabilitation and specialist activities at accredited facilities or facilities affiliated with the national health service, including cross-border facilities, as well as for the purchase of aids, when they are not already provided for by the health or welfare regulations in force.
Each beneficiary may submit several applications over several years, up to the amount defined in Article 28 of Provincial Law no. 4/2016 and within the limit of the resources available in the provincial budget.
The first application must be submitted within three years from the date of the report establishing the state of permanent civil invalidity by the Operational Unit for Forensic Medicine of the Provincial Agency for Health Services of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
Expenditure, including VAT, is eligible for:
(a) rehabilitation activities
b) specialist activities;
c) hospitalisation for rehabilitation and/or specialist activities and for respite services;
(d) purchase of direct and indirect aids.
The expenses described above must be consistent with the health path defined for the patient by the Provincial Board for Health Services of the Autonomous Province of Trento and must have been incurred after the submission of the first application, must be clearly attributable to the disabling event and may not already be covered by the National Health Service, the Welfare Service or sports insurance.
Solidarity funding is granted to the extent of 100% of the eligible expenditure, up to the amount defined in Article 28 of Provincial Law No. 4/2016, equal to 50,000 euros.
The contribution is provided for in Article 28 of Provincial Law No. 4 of 21 April 2016 "Provincial Law on Sport 2016".
