Description
As of 1 September 2025, the booking of periodic inspections of light vehicles will be suspended, specifically
- motor vehicles used for the carriage of persons with up to sixteen seats including the driver or with a gross laden mass of up to 3.5 tonnes.
Revisions that have already been booked and any revisions for which the fee has been paid before 20 August 2025 will be booked on a residual basis. Any payment of revision fees after this date shall not entitle the holder to reserve a revision.
Revisions that fall under the exclusive competence of the Civil Motor Vehicle Service will be carried out in the usual manner, specifically
- motor vehicles intended for the carriage of persons with more than sixteen seats including the driver or with a gross laden mass exceeding 3.5 t;
- trailers with any gross laden mass;
- motor vehicles and their trailers with a total gross vehicle weight of up to 3.5 t with more than two axles;
- motor vehicles with a total gross vehicle weight of up to 3.5 t with a Dangerous Goods Transport Approval Certificate (DTT 307);
- vehicles of historic and collector's interest built before 1.1.1960 if required for the braking test
- vehicles used for special transport services;
- repeat overhaul in the event of a repeat result;
- extraordinary overhaul for any vehicle in case of
- reinstatement of the vehicle in the event of a penalty under Art. 78;
- single overhaul order issued by the authority.
