This section contains information concerning vehicles, inspections and tests.

With the introduction from 01.10.2021 of the Single Vehicle Registration Document (Legislative Decree no. 98 of 29 May 2017) at the Civil Motorisation Service it is not possible to carry out the following administrative procedures: transfer of ownership, deregistration and re-registration of vehicles with compulsory registration with the P.R.A. (motor vehicles, motorbikes, road trailers with a total mass equal to or greater than 3.5 t.). This impossibility is linked to the management application of the General Directorate for Motor Vehicles in use at the provincial civil motor vehicle registration offices, which does not interface with the Public Motor Vehicle Register (P.R.A.). The counters that can process such paperwork directly are the car practice agencies (with related service costs) or, for transfers of ownership only, the P.R.A.(click here to proceed with booking)
