Description
A total of one hundred and thirty-four applications for grants were received and examined by the Sports Activities Office: 66 with a favourable outcome; 43 eligible but not granted due to the exhaustion of the resources made available; 25 ineligible due to the lack of the requirements established by the implementation criteria of Provincial Law no. 4 of 21 April 2016.
The allocation for the 2022 financial year, amounting to €99,000, allowed for the funding of all 42 applications related to team sports and then a further 24 applications (out of the 67 eligible) related to individual sports. In the "Documents" section below, the measure with the rankings referring to "Scholarships for individual sports" and "Scholarships for team sports" as well as the list of "Ineligible applications".
Please note that the score for each eligible application was formed by taking into account scholastic merit and sporting merit, as established by the Provincial Council in resolution no. 1321/2019. In particular, it is the result of the following operation: (score for scholastic merit) + [0.70 x (score for sporting merit)] + [0.30 x (score for sporting merit) x (value of the diffusion index of the respective sport practised)].
Once the decision has been executed by the Budget and Accounting Service, all applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of their application as well as, in the case of beneficiary student-athletes, the forms for requesting payment of the grant awarded.
