Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

In partial protection area (Zone B):

• Continuation of agricultural activity on the areas cultivated at the time of publication of the resolution, using traditional or modern compatible methods. The introduction of extraneous agricultural crops requires prior and binding advice.
• Renovation of tool shelters on agricultural land.
• Access to cultivated land and buildings, including by motor vehicles, by the owner, tenant or possessor.
• Exercise of silviculture defined by the forest management plan or based on prescriptions of the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forest use.
• Maintenance and completion of facilities or infrastructures of public interest, maintenance of private buildings and completion of technological networks serving homes.
• Pedestrian access, fishing, bathing and boat use (these activities may be regulated by a "Project for the protection and enhancement of the Provincial Nature Reserve").
• Interventions necessary for conservation, bio-ecological rebalancing, cultural enjoyment and scientific research, carried out by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and restructuring of existing buildings follow the norms established by the General Implementation Plan approved by the Municipality of Villa Lagarina.

In the integral protection area (Zone A):

• Interventions necessary for conservation, bio-ecological rebalancing, cultural fruition and scientific research, carried out by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and restructuring of existing buildings follow the norms established by the General Implementation Plan approved by the Municipality of Villa Lagarina.

Throughout the Provincial Nature Reserve (except for activities allowed in the partial protection area):

• Modify or alter the elements of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials, carry out excavations, changes of cultivation, land reclamation or land draining.
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs.
• Placing, removing or damaging plants, collecting or damaging mushrooms or other undergrowth products.
• Hunting and fishing, releasing, taking or disturbing animals, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Erecting buildings or artefacts of any kind, including temporary ones, and extending existing buildings beyond what is provided for in the General Implementation Plan.
• Emit or inject water or sewage.
• Carry out land clearing for agricultural purposes.
• Use pesticides or poisoned bait for purposes outside the normal course of permitted agricultural activities
• Use mulching with artificial materials.
• Crossing the area with new power lines, telephone lines or other pipelines.
• Leave the paths and wander off them (except for owners, tenants, possessors).
• Entering by any mechanical or animal means of transport.
• Overflying at low altitude and landing aircraft.
• Bathing and the use of boats (except as regulated by the "Project for the Protection and Enhancement of the Provincial Nature Reserve").
• Camping, lighting fires, causing lights, sounds and disturbing noises.
• Carrying out competitive or folkloric activities (other organised events require authorisation).
• Erecting any type of fence that could damage or impede the passage of wildlife.
• Remove or damage Provincial Nature Reserve signs.
