Description
Since the end of 2021, Casa Moggioli has been the Trentino headquarters of the European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation (Gect) Euregio Tirolo-Alto Adige-Trentino.
The building is a splendid Renaissance-style villa owned by the Autonomous Province of Trento and overlooking Via Grazioli, in the heart of Trento. Built in 1925 by Francesco Moggioli, the elder brother of the great Trentino artist Umberto Moggioli, it has large halls inside with very fine finishes.
The new building gives greater visibility to the Euregio in all its forms, a sort of "showcase" open to the city and Trentino, including, on the ground floor, an exhibition space and a room for popular events aimed at schools and all citizens, as well as for meetings of the EGTC Assembly. The first floor houses the offices of the Euregio and the Secretary General and a meeting room for the Euregio Council.
