Description
The services are provided at reduced rates or through direct grants for the implementation of innovation projects.
The centres can provide the following services:
- digital assessment;
- pre-investment testing;
- training;
- access to funding;
- financial and operational support for the development of innovative projects;
- technology brokerage;
- raising awareness at local level.
These services may also be provided to public authorities.
Specifically, for Trentino, these are the following projects:
- European Digital Innovation Hub on the theme “Digitalisation and Innovation of Public Services” run by the Bruno Kessler Foundation, which aims to strengthen and promote an integrated system of technology transfer across the country in order to encourage the provision of advanced and innovative technological services to businesses – particularly SMEs – by focusing on technologies and areas of manufacturing excellence
- European Digital Innovation Hub on the theme “InnovAction”, which comprises four technology partners (Cefriel, LINKS, FBK and the University of Naples Federico II) and represents the most important Italian cluster in the field of innovation and technology transfer, alongside one of the leading financial institutions: Banca Intesa San Paolo
- ‘SMACT’ Centre of Excellence RIMOLDING – RIModellazione di Oggetti di Meccanica del Sarca SpA, which aims to develop a system that replicates tasks currently carried out entirely by hand, thereby avoiding the risks associated with potential accidents and occupational illnesses and increasing the reliability of the process
- “BI-REX – Big Data Innovation-Research EXcellence” Competence Centre is one of the eight Industry 4.0 Centres of Excellence established in Italy at the instigation of the Ministry of Economic Development. The project aims to develop an innovative platform for computer-aided engineering design, knowledge capitalisation, technical and operational training, and continuous professional development.
