Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• The continuation of agricultural activity with current and traditional cultivation techniques, as well as those more in keeping with modern management, provided that they are compatible with the maintenance of the special characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Restructuring of tool shelters on agricultural land.
• Interventions for the conservation, environmental recovery and public enjoyment of the Provincial Nature Reserve, if provided for by a specific interdisciplinary plan approved by the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations by ENEL.
• Circulation of non-motor vehicles (bicycles) along the stretch of municipal road identified by pp.ff. 4171 and 3935/1 in C.C. di Dro, as this area does not present any particular naturalistic emergencies.

• Modify or alter in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials of any kind.
• Carry out excavations, changes of cultivation, land reclamation or draining works.
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs.
• Entering, removing or damaging flora or parts thereof, except for scientific and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve and with prior authorisation from the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Introduce, remove or disturb any animal species, except for scientific and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve and with prior authorisation of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Release waste water or water that may alter the specific characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve, or use pesticides, herbicides, mineral or organic fertilisers that may trigger eutrophication phenomena or permanently alter the biochemical characteristics of the water or soil.
• Crossing the area by overhead power lines and telephone service lines.
• Flying over the Provincial Nature Reserve at low altitude with planes or helicopters.
• Making sounds, lights, disturbing noises.
• Circulating with recreational vehicles of any kind, with the exception of bicycles on specifically permitted municipal road sections.
• Camping and lighting fires.
• Entering the protected area outside the marked paths, except for owners, usufructuaries, tenants or possessors in other capacities and persons carrying out scientific, surveillance and management activities.
