Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Exercise of agro-pastoral activities that conflict with the maintenance of the special characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Exercise of silvicultural practices, carried out according to naturalistic criteria.
• Carrying out all those interventions necessary for the conservation and restoration of the Provincial Nature Reserve, on the basis of a specific management plan

• Modifying or altering in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve
• Deposit waste or materials of any kind or to alter the natural vegetation, and to carry out excavations, reclamation works or land draining.
• Cultivating quarries and peat bogs and revoking authorisations already granted, except for reasons of conservation and restoration of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• To carry out constructions of any kind, even if of a temporary nature, or to deposit, even temporarily, prefabricated buildings; only modest constructions for the cultural and scientific enjoyment of the Provincial Nature Reserve will be allowed.
• Damaging, uprooting, cutting and removing plants of any species, except for scientific, management and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve, subject to authorisation by the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Introducing or taking any animal species, hunting and fishing within the Provincial Nature Reserve, as well as killing, capturing, injuring or disturbing wild animals.
• Introducing waste water or water that may alter the peculiar characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve itself.
• Using pesticides and herbicides of any toxicity class.
• Crossing the area with overhead power lines and telephone service lines.
• Flying over the Provincial Nature Reserve at low altitude with planes or helicopters.
• Making disturbing noises and circulating with motor vehicles of any kind.
• Picking or damaging mushrooms and other undergrowth products.
• Camping, lighting fires, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Entering the protected area outside the marked paths, except for the owner, usufructuary, tenant or possessor in another capacity and persons carrying out scientific, surveillance and management activities.
