Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Practising silviculture according to naturalistic criteria in the Scots Pine woodlands, respecting the wetland and the water zone, in favour of a natural evolution of the plant communities.
• For the conservation, environmental recovery and public enjoyment of the Provincial Nature Reserve, all the interventions foreseen by a specific interdisciplinary plan approved by the provincial service responsible for protected areas may be implemented.

• Modify or alter in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials of any kind and to carry out excavations, changes of cultivation, land reclamation or draining works.
• Cultivating quarries and peat bogs and revoking authorisations already granted.
• Introducing, removing or damaging plants and mushrooms of any species, except for scientific and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve, subject to authorisation by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Felling, disturbing, introducing or taking any animal species, except for scientific reasons.
• Using pesticides, herbicides, mineral or organic fertilisers that may trigger eutrophication phenomena or permanently alter the biochemical characteristics of the water.
• Crossing the area by overhead power lines or telephone lines.
• Flying over the Provincial Nature Reserve at low altitude with planes or helicopters.
• Making sounds, lights, disturbing noises and circulating with vehicles of any kind for recreation.
• Camping, lighting fires, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Entering the protected area outside the marked paths, except for owners, usufructuaries, tenants or holders in other capacities and persons carrying out scientific, surveillance and management activities.
