Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Conducting agricultural activity in cultivated fields, using traditional or modern compatible techniques.
• Introduction of mulching with artificial material subject to the binding opinion of the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Circulation of agricultural vehicles in cultivated areas for owners and workers.
• Exercise of silviculture according to forest management plans or prescriptions of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forest use activities (unless specifically prescribed).
• Use of water for extinguishing forest fires.
• Interventions for cultural/scientific use, protection, conservation, renaturalisation and ecological/environmental improvement defined by specific plans and subject to authorisation.
• Fishing freely permitted in the areas envisaged by the project, with possible limitations by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.

• Modifying or altering the elements of the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Depositing waste, excavating, changing cultivation, reclaiming or draining the land.
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs.
• Introduce, remove or damage flora and fungi (except for scientific/conservation reasons and authorisation).
• Killing, injuring, capturing, disturbing, releasing or taking animal species (except for specific reasons).
• Draining water resources.
• Using pesticides, herbicides, mineral or organic fertilisers that may trigger eutrophication or alter water.
• Crossing with overhead power lines and telephone lines.
• Overflying at low altitude with planes, helicopters or other motor vehicles.
• Making disturbing noises and driving motor vehicles of any kind.
• Camping, lighting fires, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Entering the protected area outside the marked paths (except for owners, tenants, usufructuaries, scientific/surveillance/management staff).
• Fencing of any kind (except those provided for in the scientific protection and enhancement plan).
• Bathing and using boats (except for scientific, management and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve).
• Carrying out play and/or sports or recreational activities.
