Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Continuation of agricultural activity on the areas cultivated on the date of the resolution, with traditional or modern compatible methods. The introduction of new intensive crops or vegetables requires the prior and binding opinion of the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Practice of silviculture in accordance with the regulations in force, with possible additions by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Access to land (also with motor vehicles) by the owner or possessor.
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forest use activities.
• Renovation of existing buildings and tool sheds on agricultural land.
• Maintenance of existing facilities or infrastructures, subject to the opinion of the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Routine maintenance of the internal road system (road bed repair, surface water regulation, maintaining existing features). Extraordinary maintenance requiring operating machinery requires prior authorisation and control by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• The Provincial Service responsible for protected areas may promote the uprooting of juveniles to restore grassland areas, subject to agreement.
• Interventions for conservation, bio-ecological rebalancing, cultural fruition and scientific research, carried out by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.

• Modifying or altering the elements of the Provincial Nature Reserve
• Depositing waste, excavating, changing cultivation, reclaiming or draining the land
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs
• Entering, removing or damaging plants/parts thereof, and collecting mushrooms or other undergrowth products
• Hunting, taking in, taking out or disturbing animal species; letting dogs or other domestic animals (also for herding) roam.
• Crossing the bog area.
• Erecting constructions or artefacts, including temporary ones.
• Draining or injecting water or sewage slurry (unless authorised for drinking purposes).
• Clearing forest, grassland and uncultivated areas for agricultural purposes.
• Using pesticides or poisoned bait for purposes unrelated to permitted activities.
• Crossing the area with new electricity, telephone or pipeline lines (overhead or underground).
• Camping, lighting fires, making sounds and noises, spreading lights.
• Carrying out competitive or folkloric activities (other organised events require authorisation).
• Building fences that may cause damage or impede the passage of wildlife.
• Remove or damage Provincial Nature Reserve signs.
