Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Fishing:
  New stretch, experimental programme (highlighted in yellow on map attached to Resolution No. 33/2017): No-Kill or nil catch; only single-barrel artificial bait without barb; closure from 1 March to 30 May inclusive; fishing only on the right orographic bank of the main course, avoiding passages/gravels/ramps along secondary courses; use of existing paths for access.
  Section already permitted (highlighted in blue on map attached to Resolution No. 33/2017): No-Kill or no catch; only single-branch, barbless artificial bait; closure from 1 March to 30 June inclusive; exercise only along the main course, avoiding fishing/passing/grabbing along secondary axes; use existing paths for access.
• Ichthyological monitoring in fishing and non-fishing areas.
• Continuation of agricultural activities on cultivated areas (according to traditional or modern methods compatible with the Provincial Nature Reserve; new intensive cultivations require a binding opinion from the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas).
• Renovation of tool shelters on agricultural land.
• Access to cultivated land (also with motor vehicles) for owners, tenants, possessors.
• Exercise of silviculture (on forest management plan or prescriptions of the provincial service responsible for protected areas).
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forest use activities.
• Maintenance work on plants or infrastructures of public interest (after consultation with the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas).
• Possible research and capture of hydrothermal springs.
• Continuation of aggregates processing activities (in place at the time of establishment). Exemption for new concrete mixing plant if the area is reorganised with vegetation barriers to mitigate impacts.
• Interventions necessary for conservation, bio-ecological rebalancing, cultural enjoyment and scientific research (by or on behalf of the provincial service responsible for protected areas).

• Fishing: not allowed in any way in the remaining river stretches within the Reserve.
• Modifying or altering in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Depositing waste or materials, excavating, changing cultivation, reclaiming or draining the land.
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs.
• Entering, removing or damaging plants or parts thereof, collecting or damaging mushrooms or other undergrowth products.
• Hunting, releasing, taking or disturbing animal species, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam (including for herding).
• Erecting constructions or artefacts of any type or material, even temporary.
• Draining or injecting water or sewage (except for ICEC well)
• Carrying out agricultural tillage of forest, grassland and uncultivated areas.
• Use pesticides of any kind or poisoned bait (for purposes outside the normal course of permitted activities).
• Use mulching with man-made materials.
• Crossing the area with new power lines, telephone lines or other overhead or underground conduits.
• Leaving the paths and wandering in the Provincial Nature Reserve outside of them (except for owners, tenants, possessors).
• Entering the protected area with any kind of mechanical or animal means of transport.
• Overflying at low altitude and landing aircraft.
• Camping, lighting fires, causing disturbing lights, sounds and noises, carrying out competitive or folkloric activities (other organised events require authorisation).
• Erecting any type of fence.
• Remove or damage the Provincial Nature Reserve identification and boundary signs.
