Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Continuation of agricultural activity on the areas cultivated at the time of the publication of the resolution, using traditional methods or modern cultivation techniques compatible with the particular characteristics of the Provincial Nature Reserve (the introduction of crops foreign to the traditional context is subject to the binding opinion of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas).
• Restructuring of tool shelters on agricultural land.
• Access to cultivated land, also with motor vehicles, by the owner, tenant or possessor.
• Exercise of silviculture on the basis of the forest management plan or prescriptions issued by the provincial service responsible for protected areas.
• Circulation of motor vehicles for forest utilisation activities.
• Free circulation on p.f. 7871 in the Municipality of Levico Terme, with the possibility of adapting the roadway, after hearing the opinion of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Maintenance works on plants or infrastructures of public interest, after hearing the opinion of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Water extraction for drinking purposes, subject to authorisation by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Water extraction in favour of the adjacent fish farm, with the modalities in place at the time of publication.
• Interventions necessary for conservation, bio-ecological rebalancing, cultural enjoyment and scientific research, carried out by or on behalf of the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.

• Modify or alter in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials of any kind and to carry out excavations, changes of cultivation, reclamation works or land draining.
• Cultivate quarries and peat bogs.
• Placing, removing or damaging plants, or parts thereof, of any species, as well as collecting or damaging mushrooms or other undergrowth products.
• Engaging in hunting and fishing and introducing, taking or disturbing any animal species, as well as letting dogs or other domestic animals roam, including for herding.
• Erecting constructions or artefacts of any type or material, even if temporary.
• Draining or injecting water or sewage.
• Clearing forest, grassland and uncultivated areas for agricultural purposes.
• Using pesticides of any kind (pesticides, herbicides, disinfectants, rodenticides, etc.) or poisoned baits for purposes outside the normal course of permitted activities.
• Mulching with materials of artificial origin.
• Crossing the area with new power lines, telephone lines and any other overhead or underground conduct.
• Leaving the paths and wandering around the Provincial Nature Reserve outside of them, except for owners, tenants or holders in other capacities of the land included in the Reserve.
• Entering the protected area with any kind of mechanical or animal means of transport.
• Overflying at low altitude and landing aircraft of any kind.
• Camping, lighting fires, causing disturbing lights, sounds and noises
• Carrying out competitive or folkloristic activities in general (other organised events must be authorised in advance by the provincial service responsible for protected areas)
• Building any type of fence
• Remove or damage the Provincial Nature Reserve identification and boundary signs.
