The 2023–2027 Rural Development Programme Supplement provides for numerous funding and investment opportunities available to the citizens of Trentino, both directly – as beneficiaries of financial support – and indirectly, as citizens who benefit from investments in innovation within agricultural enterprises, environmental protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainable resource management, and the socio-economic development of rural areas. It is therefore important for everyone – not just those working in the sector – to provide information and communicate about the funding received and the projects carried out, in order to raise awareness of the role played by the European Union, the Italian State and the Autonomous Province of Trento in the development of rural areas. It is in this context that the relevant legislation should be understood, as it imposes specific communication obligations on beneficiaries of funding under the 2023–2027 Rural Development Programme.
