Beneficiaries of funding under Rural Development Programmes (RDPs) are required to inform the public about the aims of their project, the support received from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), and their contribution to achieving the RDP’s objectives.
These guidelines are intended to assist beneficiaries in fulfilling these obligations by describing the communication measures to be implemented and how to carry them out, with a view to:
- clarify, for each type of funding, which communication tools should be used, when to prepare them and how to develop them;
- provide information on the correct management of logo imagery in all contexts of use;
- avoid errors in the printing and production of all materials
Compliance with the guidelines set out in this document will not only enable you to fulfil your regulatory obligations and avoid potential reductions in the amount due, in accordance with the implementing provisions adopted by the Regional Executive, but also to become an ‘active promoter’ of rural development in Trentino.
Thanks to your help, European citizens will learn how to access European Union funds; you will act as a spokesperson for the CAP; informing the public about the importance of European support for rural development in your area, and you will assist potential beneficiaries of the aid by sharing with them information on the process for obtaining the funds.
