Where does this requirement come from?
With regard to the use of artificial intelligence tools for the production of textual or multimedia content (images, audio and video), the provisions set out in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act) will come into force on 2 August 2026, imposing labelling and transparency obligations for such activities. The aim pursued by the European legislator is to provide a visible trace for content generated using artificial intelligence. Breach of these obligations may result in the imposition of administrative fines of up to 15,000,000 euros.
