What is the Europa Workshop?
It isa workshop-based activity that explores various European themes using an engaging and interactive approach:
- It complies with national regulations on the teaching of civic education (MIUR guidelines 2020) and with the guidelines for the teaching of civic education and citizenship in the Province of Trento (Resolution No. 1233 PAT of 21 August 2020, adopted pursuant to Law No. 92 of 20 August 2019)
- it is suitable for all school years and is delivered in schools that request it
- and is free of charge
How are the Europe Workshops organised?
The Europe Workshops are flexible and tailored to meet specific needs, the class timetable and the particular requirements of the study programmes. Generally, they consist of two sessions, each lasting 2 school hours
Why take part in this educational programme?
Because:
- the supporting materials for the lessons are provided for all pupils, including those with learning difficulties
- the publications are provided free of charge by the European Commission
- some workshops are available using the CLIL approach, in German or English
- the training programme is free of charge and is delivered in person
What topics are covered?
The topics covered include: the environment, the European Union in everyday life, borders and frontiers, opportunities for young people and much more. The programme is varied and engaging; the topics are highly topical and provide food for thought regarding everyday choices
