Permitted activities

Limits and prohibitions

• Continuation of agricultural activity in cultivated fields.
• Exercise of silviculture according to naturalistic criteria, respecting the wetland and the surrounding woodland, in order to favour a natural evolution of the plant communities.
• Interventions for the conservation, environmental recovery, and public use of the Provincial Nature Reserve, provided for by a specific interdisciplinary plan approved by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Bathing allowed in the lake portion in front of pp.ff. 953/2 and 953/14 C.C. Levico Terme.

• Modifying or altering in any way the elements that make up the Provincial Nature Reserve.
• Deposit waste or materials of any kind and to carry out excavations, changes of cultivation, land reclamation or draining works.
• Cultivating quarries and peat bogs and revoking authorisations already granted.
• Introducing, removing or damaging plants and mushrooms of any species, except for scientific and conservation reasons of the Provincial Nature Reserve, subject to authorisation by the Provincial Service responsible for protected areas.
• Kill, disturb, introduce or take away any animal species, except for scientific reasons.
• Introduce waste water or water that may alter the biochemical characteristics of the water.
• Using pesticides, herbicides, mineral or organic fertilisers that may trigger eutrophication phenomena or permanently alter the biochemical characteristics of the water.
• Crossing the area by overhead power lines or telephone lines.
• Flying over the Provincial Nature Reserve at low altitude with planes or helicopters.
• Making sounds, lights, disturbing noises and circulating with vehicles of any kind for recreation.
• Bathing along the banks and in the water in front of the reeds, with the exception of the lake portion in front of pp.ff. 953/2 and 953/14 C.C. Levico Terme.
• Use of boats of any kind, except for the portion of the lake in front of pp.ff. 953/2 and 953/14 C.C. Levico Terme where, however, the use of motor boats remains forbidden
• Camping, lighting fires, letting dogs or other domestic animals roam.
• Entering the protected area outside the marked trails, with the exception of owners, usufructuaries, tenants or holders in other capacities and persons carrying out scientific, surveillance and management activities.
