ACTION C.4 Establish a working table to define conservation measures in the future RDP and sustainable tourism policies

The aim of this action, implemented within the framework of the LIFE+TEN project, is the integration of nature protection and socio-economic development policies. The objective is therefore to bring the Trentino multi-purpose ecological network and more generally the Natura 2000 network and their needs to the attention of the agricultural and tourism sectors. This will be done within the framework of a special working table, which will have the task of developing coordinated strategies, identifying innovative measures and formulating proposals for training, information and awareness-raising initiatives that virtuously combine nature protection and sustainable development.

Expected results

• Establishment of a permanent working table between the provincial representatives responsible for nature conservation, agricultural and tourism policies.
  The working table initiated the TurNat project.
