On the 70th anniversary of the death of Alcide De Gasperi, one of the founding fathers of the European Union, EUROPE DIRECT Trentino and EUROPE DIRECT Südtirol-Alto Adige are pleased to present the theatrical reading "The Thread of Choice".
An emotional journey through monologues that tell the soul of those who, with vision and courage, have built the common future of the European peoples. The voices of Alessandra Evangelisti and Giulio Federico Janni will bring to life emblematic figures such as Robert Schuman, Konrad Adenauer, Simone Veil, Louise Weiss and Alcide De Gasperi, restoring the intensity of their thoughts and dreams through intimate and passionate readings.
Everything will be enriched by the musical contribution of the Coro da Camera Trentino di Borgo Valsugana, directed by Maestro Giancarlo Comar, who will accompany the narration with evocative choral notes.
The performance with free admission, sponsored by the Municipality of Laives, will take place on 11 December 2024 at 8.30 p.m. at the Teatro dei Filodrammatici "Gino Coseri" in Laives.
