Description
This section on Ornamental Stones presents the results of the collaboration between the Geological Service and the Mining Service of the Autonomous Province of Trento, which took the form of a project with the main aim of enhancing the value of Trentino's ornamental stones, with a view to environmentally sustainable exploitation.
The results achieved are presented in the form of descriptive sheets illustrating the physical-mechanical and chemical-petrographic characteristics of the main stone materials used both today and in the past.
