Temporary housing

The project involves:

• the renovation/rehabilitation and modernisation of three buildings in the area;
• the provision of flats for individuals, small groups or families for up to 24 months, combining the housing solution with a customised project for each individual/family in order to implement personal growth development programmes and help them achieve a greater degree of autonomy.

At the same time, thanks to the creation of a multidisciplinary intake system, each recipient will be inserted in a customised pathway, lasting 24 months, which will support them in acquiring personal resources necessary for an autonomous future.

The renovation/rehabilitation and modernisation of three buildings in the area (in the municipalities of Rovereto, Trento and Mori) is planned.

To provide protection and support to persons in a state of severe material deprivation, homelessness or extreme marginality by creating a pathway that provides them with an alternative way of life, assigning stable and adequate housing as a starting point for building a pathway to economic and social autonomy and stability.

Local implementing bodies as property owners: Municipalities of Rovereto and Mori

The implementation of the NRP in Trentino fits coherently into the programme framework for sustainable provincial development, according to the policies identified in the provincial Economic and Financial Document and its Update Note.

PNRR funding: € 710,000.00

With the Directorate Decree of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies no. 98 of 9 May 2022, the lists of the projects of the Ambiti Sociali Territoriali (single area for the province of Trento) were approved.

In addition, the Notice for the granting of contributions to cover the expenses related to the management of Care Communities for Adults and the interventions of Accompanied Housing for Adults was approved, which also regulates the granting and disbursement of contributions for the management of the temporary housing activities envisaged by the project (Resolution no. 1999 of 4 November 2022).

In 2023 the outline of the agreement between the Province and the Municipalities of Rovereto and Mori was approved to define the obligations of the parties for the realisation of the infrastructural interventions envisaged by the project (Resolution no. 1662 of 15 September 2023).
