General information

It is an action that derives, becoming more structured on the basis of the experiences gained, from the VET mobility project interventions carried out in the years 2017/2018 - 2018/2019 - 2019/2020 and that acts on the needs of the Trentino labour and professional market.

The project pursues the general aim of strengthening the non-formal learning opportunities of:

- young people who have just graduated/qualified (graduating fifth year or fourth year of vocational training)

- young people attending the fourth year of upper secondary school;

- young apprentices;

through the activation of on-the-job training actions, combining, according to the alternance model, classroom training moments and moments of professional apprenticeship, to be carried out in productive-organisational contexts abroad and, possibly, in Trentino.

Goals

The general objective of the project is to strengthen the non-formal learning opportunities of young people who have just graduated/qualified, of those attending the 4th year of upper secondary school and of young apprentices, through the activation of on-the-job training actions, combining - according to the alternance model - classroom training moments and moments of professional apprenticeship to be carried out in productive-organisational contexts both abroad and in Trentino.

All the 250 learners targeted by the project will be offered the opportunity to participate in a customised learning pathway lasting between 5 and 16 weeks, to be carried out in production contexts of goods and services at the cutting-edge of technology and organisation in Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Malta and Bulgaria.

The pathways are aimed at pursuing the following specific objectives

- to promote the entry of project participants into the world of work with quality profiles

- enhancing the appropriation of new styles and behaviours in active and activating professional contexts;

- to improve the participants' technical-specific and transversal skills;

- stimulate qualification in highly specialised and particularly innovative environments;

- strengthen the participants' curriculum in terms of knowledge of a foreign language applicable in work contexts open to internationalisation;

- provide certification and a portfolio of skills of European significance.
