General information

The PLUS-MUSE project (PLUS - Mechatronics Ultimate Skills in Europe) is in implementation of the programme lines outlined in the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter 2016, in coherence with the related Internationalisation Strategy, as well as in response to the needs of the labour market and professions. PLUS-MUSE identifies as recipients 60 learners with a diploma or qualification, who have been out of the relative study pathway for less than one year, resident in Trentino. These are young people who have acquired technical and professional skills in the educational training context that can be applied to industrial automation and mechatronics. The project intends to exploit the irreplaceable role that can be played by learning models in a work context with a significant technological impact, using the instrument of training abroad in apprenticeships as a key factor. With a view to strengthening the system, the 6 provincial staff members called upon to supervise the entire planning and implementation of transnational mobilities are also called upon to undertake mobility and contextualised learning abroad.

PLUS-MUSE is accompanied by continuous promotion, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination actions implemented at the start, during and at the end of the project.

Goals

The objectives of the project with regard to learners are mainly related to reinforcing the participants' non-formal learning opportunities in terms of appropriation or re-appropriation of new styles and behaviours of presence in an active and activating professional context. The aim is to improve their skills as well as to stimulate their qualification in professionalising and particularly innovative environments. The ultimate aim is to facilitate their rapid entry into the world of work with quality profiles. Individuals' pathways are customised in order to acquire the envisaged final technical vocational qualification as experts in mechatronic systems and automation. The foreign company contexts in which the learners are placed are of high quality and necessary for the effective achievement of the defined goals. At the same time, the mobilities also aim to increase language skills, with application in a work and social context. The objectives of the project as far as staff are concerned are mainly aimed at improving the competences of the people in charge of transnational actions in the VET area, enabling the maturation of positive experiences and skills in the exploitation of the instrument of mobility abroad.
