Modernisation of the hospital’s technology and digital infrastructure – Digitalisation (ongoing projects)

Ongoing projects initially funded under Decree-Law 34/2020 and identified in the former Hospital Network Reorganisation Plan for the adaptation of provincial healthcare facilities to the management of pandemic emergencies, which have now been incorporated into the PNRR monitoring system.

Specifically, this involves the construction of:

• 36 intensive care beds at the S. Maria del Carmine Hospital in Rovereto;
• 10 intensive care beds at the S. Chiara Hospital in Trento, with provincial funding;
• 16 semi-intensive care beds at the Valli del Noce Hospital in Cles;
• 12 semi-intensive care beds at the S. Chiara Hospital in Trento;
• 10 semi-intensive care beds at Arco Hospital;
• 5 measures relating to A&E procedures.

The aim of the project is to improve the digitalisation of healthcare and enhance the quality of processes, whilst ensuring patient safety and the provision of high-quality services.

Provincialtarget: 46 intensive care beds and 38 in sub-intensive care

The implementation of the PNRR in Trentino forms an integral part of the provincial policy framework for sustainable development, in line with the policies set out in the Provincial Economic and Financial Document and the related Update Note.

PaT funding: €1,960,788.26
