Modernisation of hospital technology and digital stock - Large equipment

The investment envisages thedigital modernisation of the hospital technology park, through the purchase of new large high-tech equipment to replace technology that is more than five years old.

More specifically, in the Autonomous Province of Trento, this involves the purchase of

• 5 CT scanners (Borgo Valsugana, Arco, Cavalese, Trento and Tione Hospitals);
• 1 Linear Accelerator (Trento Hospital);
• 5 Fixed X-ray systems (Borgo Valsugana, Cavalese, Trento, Rovereto and Cles Hospitals);
• 2 Angiographs (Trento and Rovereto Hospitals);
• 1 Gamma Camera (Trento Hospital);
• 12 Echotomographs (1 Arco Hospital, 7 S. Chiara Hospital of Trento, 1 Villa Igea Hospital of Trento, 1 Riva del Garda, 2 Rovereto Hospital)

Provincialtarget: 26 new high-tech hospital equipment operational by 31 December 2025

The Autonomous Province of Trento, as the implementing party, uses theAzienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari (APSS) as the delegated implementing party.

The implementation of the NRP in Trentino fits coherently into the programme framework for sustainable provincial development, according to the policies identified in the provincial Economic and Financial Document and its Update Note.

PNRR funding: € 9,727,267.20

PaT funding: € 652,700.00

The 26 pieces of equipment have been ordered.
As of November 2024, 16 projects are completed (ultrasound scanners and some diagnostic imaging) and for 10 projects the design and execution phases for installation are underway.
