Data collection and analysis

It is planned that the Regions and Autonomous Provinces will implement new health information flows. Subsequently, the Ministry of Health will provide Software Development ToolKits to facilitate the interconnection of healthcare facilities.

The objective is to strengthen the technological infrastructure and tools for the collection, processing, data analysis and simulation for the monitoring of the essential levels of care and the planning of health care services that are in line with needs, the evolution of the demographic structure of the population, trends and the epidemiological framework.

Target: 4 new information flows relating to rehabilitation care, activities provided by family advice centres, community hospitals and primary care services

The Autonomous Province of Trento, as implementing party, uses theAzienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari (APSS) as the delegated implementing party.

The implementation of the NRP in Trentino fits coherently into the programme framework for sustainable provincial development, according to the policies identified in the provincial Economic and Financial Document and its Update Note.

PNRR funding: € 247,852.00

The Ministry of Health decrees of 7 August 2023 have been implemented, which read:

• "Information system for monitoringrehabilitation assistance (SIAR)";
• 'Information system for monitoring the activities provided by family counselling centres (SICOF)'.

In addition, the Province gave the APSS the mandate to adopt, within the framework of the New National Health Information System (NSIS), the two relative information flows, according to ministerial provisions (Resolution No. 1766 of 29 September 2023).

The rehabilitation and counselling flows were tested). The first data were sent by the deadline of 15 May 2024.

On the other hand, the flows 'Community Hospitals Information System' and 'Primary Care Information System' (SIAP) will take into account the specifications defined by the Ministry of Health by decree of 4 August 2025. The first sending of data is expected to take place monthly from January 2026.
