Community Houses

The Community House will be an ongoing point of reference to ensure health promotion, prevention and care for the community of reference, especially for the chronically ill, and will also be equipped with IT infrastructure (telemedicine) and multi-specialist equipment. It will be a single access point for health and social-health services in the area, therefore, in coordination with the hospital network, with the aim of guaranteeing proximity services to residents.

The organisational model, which is already present in the area, will be further strengthened with structural investments that will involve, to varying degrees, existing structures (similar in function to the Community Homes), as well as structures that will be used for this function, including newly built ones.

The Case della Comunità are planned in Malé, Predazzo, Pergine Valsugana, Borgo Valsugana, Sen Jan di Fassa, Trento nord, Rovereto, Cles, Riva del Garda and Ala.

To provide an integrated response to basic care needs, with continuous points of reference for the population to ensure that the community is taken care of, also by means of a collection point, basic multi-specialist and diagnostic equipment, and an IT infrastructure.

Target: 10 Community Houses (3 to be built, 7 to be renovated), also ensuring energy efficiency.

The Autonomous Province of Trento, as the implementing party, uses theAzienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari (APSS) as the delegated implementing party.

The implementation of the NRP in Trentino fits coherently into the programme framework for sustainable provincial development, according to the policies identified in the provincial Economic and Financial Document and its Update Note.

Work on the Casa della Comunità in Ala is complete.
Work has begun on the Community Houses in Cles, Borgo Valsugana, Trento, Malé, San Jean di Fassa and Predazzo.
For the Rovereto Community House, work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2025.
The start of works for the Community Houses in Pergine Valsugana and Riva del Garda are conditional on the completion of other works on the same buildings and, respectively, the works for structural reinforcements and for the Community Hospital in Pergine Valsugana and the fire-prevention works for the building identified in Riva del Garda.
