General information

Manni Green Tech srl is the company within the Manni Group that deals with off-site construction through its own industrialised building system. As a Group we feel a strong responsibility to reduce the impact of building on the planet and to contribute to the spread of alternative building systems.

The project aims to develop innovative, sustainable and technologically advanced building systems with the objective of improving the energy and environmental performance of building envelopes. In particular, it aims to create innovative stratigraphies integrated with continuous thermal transmittance monitoring solutions to assess performance degradation over time.
The project involved the development of sensors capable of measuring surface temperature, air temperature and heat flow, allowing real-time monitoring of opaque panels.

In addition, the project introduces a non-destructive diagnostic system for on-line inspection of sandwich panels and the integration of nanotechnology, such as heat-reflective finishes, to optimise the energy efficiency of the envelope in an economically sustainable and easily industrialised manner.

The results find application in the fields of sustainable construction, off-site prefabrication and energy monitoring of buildings, offering solutions to improve living comfort and reduce environmental impact.
The stratigraphies developed, with timber and LSF structural components, meet aesthetic, functional and regulatory requirements by integrating innovative and sustainable materials.

The benefits brought include an increase in the environmental and economic sustainability of the building systems, better control of thermal performance over time and the possibility of timely intervention to maintain the energy efficiency of the envelope.
The results obtained, such as prototype layers, wireless sensor systems with energy harvesting and complete technical documentation, are ready to be implemented. The developed solutions can be adopted in prefabrication processes, integrated into building monitoring systems and adapted to different project requirements.
